Privacy Notice
Vantry · last updated 20 October 2026
This says what Vantry stores about you, why, and how to get rid of it. It covers the bot and the dashboard at https://vantry.link.
What is stored
- Discord identifiers — your user ID, and the IDs of servers, channels and roles. IDs are how Discord names things; they are not secret and they are what makes a setting able to point at anything.
- Your Discord profile — username, display name and avatar, cached so the dashboard can show who somebody is without asking Discord every time.
- Server configuration — every setting you switch on, plus the things you build: custom commands, ticket categories, achievements, badges, panels, tags.
- Feature data — levels, XP, economy balances, warnings, tickets and their transcripts, giveaway entries, playlists, profile bios.
- Ticket transcripts — the messages sent in a ticket channel, kept after the channel is deleted so the record survives.
- Dashboard sessions — a login session, and a security log of sign-ins with the approximate location and browser, so you can spot one that isn't yours.
- Payment — which plan was bought for which server, and when. Card details are never seen or stored by Vantry; payment is handled by the payment provider.
What is not stored
Vantry does not read or keep the general contents of your server's messages. Message content is only stored where a feature you switched on requires it: a ticket transcript, or a message a moderation rule acted on. Automatic moderation examines messages as they arrive and keeps nothing unless it acted. Nothing is sold to anyone.
Advertising
Most pages of the website and dashboard show ads, which help keep Vantry free. Nobody with Premium sees them, and they never appear on sign-in, security, account, billing, hosting or staff pages, or on pages showing a server's members, moderation records or tickets.
- Sponsored cards are sold and served by Vantry itself. Clicking one counts a click — nothing about who you are is recorded or passed to the sponsor.
- Google AdSense, where shown, is run by Google, which may use cookies to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where the law allows it. Visitors in the EU, EEA and UK are asked for consent first. You can manage this at adssettings.google.com; how Google uses data is explained at policies.google.com.
Ad scripts are only allowed on the pages that show ads, and are blocked from loading any other part of the site.
Why
To run the features a server switched on, to keep accounts secure, and to prevent abuse. Nothing is used for any other purpose.
Who else sees it
- Discord, necessarily — everything happens on their platform.
- Server managers, for their own server's data. Anyone who can manage a server can see its tickets, warnings and configuration.
- Vantry staff, where needed to run the service or investigate abuse.
- The payment provider, for payments.
- Google, as described under Advertising, when you view a page that shows Google ads.
It is not shared with anyone else.
Encryption
The most sensitive things Vantry holds — Discord sign-in tokens, email addresses, IP addresses, browser details and 2-step login secrets — are encrypted in the database, so a copy of the database alone does not reveal them. Optional Vantry passwords are stored only as a slow one-way hash.
How long
Configuration and feature data are kept while the bot is in the server, and removed on request. Ticket transcripts are kept until deleted by that server. Security-log entries are kept for a limited period and then dropped. Removing the bot from a server does not by itself erase that server's data — ask, and it will be.
Your control
The dashboard's Security page lets you export everything held about you as a file, and erase it. You can sign out of every device there, and see every session. To have a whole server's data removed, ask in the support server from an account that manages it.
Security
Data is held on a private self-hosted server, reachable only over an encrypted connection. Nothing is perfectly secure; if there is ever a breach affecting your data, you will be told.
Children
Vantry is not for anyone below Discord's minimum age for their country. If data from such an account has been stored, tell us and it will be deleted.
Changes and contact
This notice may change; the date at the top is when it last did. Questions, exports and deletion requests: open a ticket in the Vantry support server.
