Terms of Service
Vantry · last updated 20 October 2026
These terms cover using the Vantry Discord bot and the dashboard at https://vantry.link. By adding Vantry to a server, or by using it in one, you agree to them. If you don't, remove the bot.
What Vantry is
A Discord bot and a web dashboard for running a server: moderation, tickets, music, leveling, economy, and the other features listed on the site. It is run by an individual, not a company.
Who may use it
You need a Discord account in good standing and must meet Discord's own minimum age for your country. You are responsible for what happens under your account and in servers you run.
Acceptable use
Don't use Vantry to break Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, and don't use it to harass people, distribute illegal material, run scams, evade a ban or moderation action, attack the service, or resell access to it. Don't attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the bot, the dashboard or its infrastructure.
Server managers are responsible for the content they configure — custom commands, ticket categories, welcome messages, panels and achievements all put your words in front of your members. Vantry screens that text automatically, but the screening is a safety net, not a review.
Blacklisting, and what it does to Premium
A server or an account may be blacklisted for breaking these terms or Discord's. When that happens:
- the bot leaves the server, or the account is blocked from every command;
- any Premium held by that server or account ends immediately — including a lifetime plan;
- payments already made are not refunded, in whole or in part; and
- any Premium request still waiting is declined.
Removing a blacklist entry later does not restore Premium. It was ended, not paused, and there is no remaining paid time to give back.
Blacklisting is not automatic and is not used for disagreements about how you run your server. It is for the things listed under Acceptable use. Whoever paid is told by direct message why it happened, and can reply to have it looked at again. If a blacklist is found to have been applied in error, Premium is reinstated for the time that was lost.
Premium
Premium is sold per server, or per person for the personal plan. Prices are shown before you commit and nothing is charged until you confirm. Plans that renew can be cancelled from the dashboard at any time: you keep what you have paid for until the date shown, and it does not renew after that. A lifetime plan does not renew and cannot be cancelled, because there is nothing to stop.
Beyond the blacklist case above, refunds are handled case by case — ask, and be honest about why. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Your content and your data
Anything you configure stays yours. Vantry stores it in order to run the features you switched on; the privacy notice says exactly what is kept and for how long. You can export or erase what is held about you from the dashboard's Security page.
Availability
Vantry is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime. It is self-hosted on ordinary hardware and may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, an outage at Discord, or a power cut. Features may change or be withdrawn. Where a paid feature is withdrawn permanently, the fair remainder of a subscription is refunded.
Vantry is not liable for losses arising from using it, to the extent the law allows — including lost messages, lost configuration, or moderation actions it carried out as configured. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending it
You can remove the bot from a server at any time. Access may be ended if these terms are broken, as set out above.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top is when they last did. Continuing to use Vantry after a change means accepting it; a change that materially affects paying users is announced in the support server and by direct message before it takes effect.
