AutoMod
Vantry filters messages before a moderator has to. The slur filter is on by default and free; everything else — invite links, external links, mass mentions, shouting — is switched on per server with the thresholds you choose.
Slur filter, on by default
Catches hate speech including the obfuscations people reach for when a plain filter stops them — spacing, substituted characters, repeated letters. Bypassing it takes deliberate effort rather than a single space.
Links, invites, mentions and caps
Each filter is separate, so a server can allow links and still block invites. Allowed domains are a list you control, and the mass-mention and caps limits are numbers you set.
Escalation with a ceiling
Repeat offences escalate within a window you choose, up to a harshest action you also choose — so AutoMod can warn and time out without ever being able to ban.
Exempt roles and censoring
Moderators can be exempted, and a filtered message can be censored in place rather than deleted, which keeps the conversation readable.
Edits are scanned too
A clean message edited into a slur is caught. Filtering only new messages is the most common gap in a filter, and it is the first one people find.
