Logging
Vantry writes down what happens in your server so you are not reconstructing it from memory afterwards. You choose the channel and which events are worth recording.
Events you pick
Joins and leaves, message deletions and edits, role and nickname changes, channel changes — enabled individually rather than all or nothing.
A separate mod log
Moderation actions go to their own channel, so the record of who banned whom is not buried under join notices.
Checked configuration
Vantry tells you when the log channel has been deleted or when it cannot post there — the two reasons logging silently stops, both of which otherwise go unnoticed for months.
