Support
Answering tickets and questions from people using Vantry. The most useful thing to volunteer for, and the least glamorous.
Moderation
Handling reports and abuse across servers using Vantry, and the blacklist.
Community & discovery
Reviewing the public server list, keeping it honest, and helping servers set up.
Testing
Trying features before they ship and writing up what broke. Needs patience more than skill.
Development
TypeScript, discord.js and Prisma. Reading the source and proposing changes.
What it involves
It is unpaid. The work is answering people whose bot has stopped doing something, reading reports, and testing things before they break for everyone else.
What we look for is turning up when you said you would and writing clearly. Experience helps but is not the point.
You get the staff tools for the part you are doing, a referral link that earns 10% of the first payment from servers you bring in, and features before they ship.
